[ Zhongli carefully removes the coat and drapes it on a chair so it doesn't get wrinkled before stepping out of his own shoes and going to have a seat. He blinks curiously at the third cup. ]
[ shakes his head. ] No. But I'm going to give you a choice, Xiansheng. [ points to one- two- cups of tea. ] Both of these are just normal cups of tea. If you'd like we can just snuggle up by the fireplace and you can do your crosswords or sudoku while we chit chat. How~ever~ this cup [ point. ] will turn you into a dragon. [ >3 ]
[ LITTLE DOES HE KNOW A SMALL DRAGON. ]
Remember the other day when I said it would be neat to get to see you as a dragon, well, I found a way~
I found someone that is also a dragon. But being in this place has taken her transformative powers away and because that's a big part of who she is, literally!, she figured out how to make such a brew~ It didn't start as a tea. I just put it into that, since I imagine it tastes funny. I wouldn't know though, since, well, I'm not interested in becoming a dragon... though... [ smirks at zhongli. ] I bet I'd make a handsome one~
But if it makes you feel better, [ he'll start moving furniture to the far sides of the cabin, leaving the center just a bit empty space! ] how's that?
[ goes to the pile of clothes and stoops down, picking up zhongli's jacket ( or attempting to! ) because he's going to fold it. ] You said you're not breakable and I somehow broke you... dummy.
[ At first, the small dragon flails as he is suddenly airborne not of his own power. But when he realizes what it is happening, he burrows into Childe's arms, tiny claws prickling through the fabric of his sleeves and tail looping as much as it can around his waist. ]
I'm going to be honest... this is not what I expected either. [ stifles a bit of a laugh and brings zhongli close to his chest. ] Maybe I didn't use enough, ..? But, ah, Xiansheng. I didn't know you could BECOME so small. You're really too cute. [ snuggles his face into zhongli's back. ] You look like an adorable stuffed animal.

[ He lifts up the cup, bringing it close so he can smell the contents of it.
And then glancing around the room as if sizing it up for his Exuvia form. He doesn't want to destroy Childe's cabin after all. ]
Might I inquire to how you procured this tea?

[ And he cradles the cup carefully in his hands ]
Ah, but before I drink - please make sure all your important breakables are safely stored. I would hate to damage anything that is precious to you.
