[ And true enough, when they get to the bay - where Venti can soak up just a little water at the very least - he sets the bard back down on his feet. ]

[ Giggling to himself without bothering to explain.

(Perhaps it's the idea of Rex Lapis, God of Contracts, signing a contract to be a dragon pillow.)

Either way, as soon as he's set down, he grabs Zhongli's hands and drags him close enough to the surf that when he plops down, it laps against his legs. ]

[ He easily follows Venti next to the water, noise wrinkling as his shoes get wet. He slips them off and his outermost jacket, bundling them up in such a way that they won't get too wet or sandy hopefully before settling on the beach.

And then he curls his tail off to the side, offering his lap and tail as a pillow for most of Venti's upper body. ]

[ He flops more of himself into Zhongli's lap than simply "pillow" necessitates, and opts to wrap his arms around the tail fluff instead. ]

[ His threads his fingers carefully through Venti's hair, tail moving only enough to better cushion him. ]

[ He sobers quickly at that, tapping his chin thoughtfully as he tilts his head to one side. ]

I suppose that I have no argument for that.

What is he tries to shut Venti up by kissing him square on the mouth then. ]
