[ And then raises an eyebrow at him before stepping aside to let him in. ]

[ he crosses the threshold and leans over to kiss zhongli's cheek, taking a bouquet of origami flowers in white, brown, black, and gold and handing it to zhongli. at the center is something that's supposed to look like a glaze lily, but clearly it's not as good as the others. he tried though! ]

[ And his expression goes incredibly fond as he takes the bouquet, fingers tracing over each petals as he inspects it. There's a slight curl to his smile as he touches the glaze lily, smoothing out the blue petals out of perfectionist habit as he looks back up at Childe. ]

Ah, you're going to fill up my entire room within a few days at this rate.

I made it at one of Taisho's Lives. [ by stealing all the supplies and not actually participating in the live properly! y'know, #justchildethings. ] Much better than real flowers, since you don't have to worry about them dying.

[ Following him while still refolding edges of the glaze lily. ]

[ Zhongli's hand finds Childe's hip as he turns around and he leans in just a fraction. ]

...shameless it is. [ kisses him right in hss' hall and not caring who sees. ] I really like the way my name sounds coming from you, Zhongli Xiansheng.

[ Zhongli kisses Childe back, equally shameless as his hand shifts to press against the small of his back before finding the door knob and pushing it open. ]

I should not be surprised that you prefer this name over any other.

[ childe stumbles backward and falls on his ass, because, hey!, a little warning would have been nice. ]

[ it takes a lot to refrain from commenting about his given name, ajax, since he had been a heroic warrior. ]

He sets the bouquet down on a shelf so he can offer a hand to help Childe back up. ]

[ His thumb traces over Childe's cheek before he pulls back. ]

[ Zhongli pulls out his phone and makes a purchase, not looking at the price as he always does. Thankfully being a mermaid has given him a point cushion. ]

[ Sliding off Childe's lap to gracefully rise to his feet. ]

[ And he dips his hand into the mailbox to present Childe with a bunch of white and blue snowdrop flowers ]

I have not been to Snezhnaya in some time, so I do not know if flowers like these still grow there.

But there was a time where such flowers could exist in the brisk cold of your country.
