I am a retired god. The God of Contracts was the domain I was most well known for, and I presided over my home country of Liyue for over 3,700 years. I met Tartaglia when he was sent on assignment from his own god to attempt to steal my divinity.
It was part of the contract between her and I. She wished for my gnosis - the divinity which connects me to Celestia, and I wished a test for my people. To prove that they were strong enough to no longer need a god to watch over them.
