Its not just the color, but… they are gorgeous. I used to have one growing out of my head, another corruption, but I managed to get rid of it by taking a dip in the holy water up in Heaven.
Not really? It was just kind of annoying, because they changed color based on my mood, so it made it pretty hard to lie to people. [ laughs. ] But I'm also not really one for wearing my emotions so openly, especially when trying to comfort somebody else. Makes it harder. Most of the corruptions I've had haven't been so bad. Minor annoyances, perhaps, but it's nothing you don't eventually get used to.
[ her smile softens. ] I usually don’t hide much, but I hate coming off as weak. Somebody that’s meant to protect has to stand strong no matter what, even in the face of danger.
