[ childe tries to speak, to reply to zhongli, but he can't figure out to form a coherent thought for the life of him. whatever nonsense he ends up babbling at him is a mix of every language he knows, a few 'words' in between hot and heavy pants as he leans into zhongli. ]
[ he moves one of his arms with the coordination of a toddler, reaching for zhongli's face after a bit too much effort, so he can drag him into a sloppy and highly uncoordinated kiss. ]
[ He kisses back, firm and with enough assertiveness to wrest control of the kiss from Childe, tongue tasting each and every delicious sound he is making. He hums thoughtfully as he strokes his hair one final time before reaching over to continue the final touches to the bath - the perfect temperature. Just that right amount of soaps and scented oil. ]

[ it doesn’t take too much effort to take control of the kiss, although childe does seem to be trying ( and rather pitifully ) to dominate zhongli in some fashion. he can barely coordinate himself let alone make any real effort, so it’s probably a bit laughable, but he’s also not going to go out without some kind of a fight… even if the fight involves a whole lot of affection. ]

[ he does paw at zhongli’s clothing in an attempt to help, but he’s probably making it harder for him. ] Xiansheng~ If I do drown Will you give me mouth to mouth?
[ shuts his eyes, oozing into the touch and giving a content sigh. ] What do you mean, Xiansheng? I think we gave your room all the upgrades it needs. I don’t need all that much… a nice bed and your arms are fine.
We could do that… or instead of just getting a beach we could kind of… make a room from scratch, one that has a little of this and that - you know! all of our favorite things. It doesn’t need to make sense, but… it’ll be kind of like us… [ reaches for zhongli’s hand, so he can bring it right into his face for a nuzzle. ] best of both worlds.
...my beach room is based heavily on the shoal. I don't think we need another, though I guess since it'd be in your room that'd make it different enough. [ a bit of a laugh. ] Liyue Pier is an idea. To be honest, Xiansheng, I have been wanting to buy you a room upgrade that's basically just Liyue for a while. Wouldn't that be nice? You could enjoy home away from home!
