When you explained what happened I was more concerned that it would escalate in terms of what he would ask and not about the original message. I'm afraid I do not have much trust in the Balladeer's intentions after previous encounters.

As for my initial reaction, that was a combination of my own concerns and failings. With Cardinal gone and Venti currently grey and losing his memories, once I read the text I suppose I just.
