You should have opened with that, that's significantly less useful.

But that's fine. I'll keep them in the backburner as a backup plan. I am already looking into ways for which traveling through worlds would be attainable by myself and others.

As for what is happening in my world specifically. The first apocalypse was caused by my sister. I didn't manage to stop it, and in a last-second effort to save my family I brought us all back in time.

Unfortunately we brought the end of the world with us, so now the apocalypse is scheduled far earlier, caused by a war that should not be on the timeline. I'm still uncertain of what causes it and yes, I know my sister is a possible factor because I brought her with us, but I'm considering other possibilities too.

Taking aside my lack of knowledge, the biggest issue we face is the Commission. They are an organization tasked with preserving the timeline the way it is - and the end of the world, the first one at any rate, is supposed to happen according to them. So any attempts at preventing it is, well. Met with their meddling.

I worked with them for a time, while I was trying to find my way back to my family.

[ A pause, as he realizes there's a piece missing from that exposition ]

Right. When I was 13 I traveled forward in time and got stuck in the apocalypse, unable to get back. I lived there as the only surviving living being for 45 years, and managed to get out of it just because I was recruited by the commission. Then I found a way to get back to my family, about 10 days before the apocalypse was scheduled.

I messed up the equation, so I ended up with this body. It's the same process I'm proposing for Tartaglia.
